Client Testimonials

“Sam was my Postpartum Doula for six weeks as I took a traditional lie in of 40 days after the birth of my third baby. Sam was a dream, she came each week with delicious herbal infusions and a couple of meals/baked goods that I had requested in the days prior. She massaged me with warm sesame oil, set me up for moxabustion sessions, sat with me and talked about whatever was up on the day and occassionally folded some washing or vaccumed. She made sure I always had a warm drink and a nutritious meal or snack when I was hungry. As well as the amazing practical help in terms of food and housework, Sam's pressence nurtured me both physical (with our massage and moxa sessions) but also spiritually as I felt connected and loved in a time when we weren't recieving visitors and I was focussed on my own recovery and bonding with baby. Every Mother deserves this care, and hiring Sam was hands down one of the best investments I ever made. It set me up for a Postpartum of feeling resting, loved, revered and in vital health. Eternally grateful Sam! I love you”

“I am so pleased that I made the decision to hire Samantha, she was worth every single cent. She has a beautiful disposition and is a strong listener. She always left with me feeling heard, validated and very well cared for. Samantha also has such a treasure chest of knowledge regarding pregnancy, the birth world, postpartum and parenting, it's really impressive! The main thing that stood out to me about Samantha though is the absolute genuine care and desire to be there for other mothers. Her passion and drive for her work added an extra layer of something rather magical that i struggle to put into words! I would definitely hire her again.”

"Sam supported me during my first 6 weeks postpartum after the birth of my first child. This support included home visits, cooking and freezing meals, physiological womb support (moxa treatment), and guidance surrounding yoni steaming. Her presence in my home in that tender transitional time felt so nurturing. When I needed to rest with baby, I could barely hear her pottering around in the kitchen, yet her energy in my home brought a feeling of warmth and softness. The meals she prepared for me were so nourishing! Her knowledge and skillset in the realm of nourishing postpartum foods was evident in every mouthful. Her awareness of what a new mother needs shone through down to the smallest detail. I vividly remember my meals in a mug rather than a bowl and spoon for one handed ease, served on a tray with fresh cut wildflowers- divine!”

“Samantha is an absolute divine and very special holder of space. Particularly that of the sacred space of motherhood & the initiation journey of that which is birthing. Leading up to & after our birth, her presence, wealth of knowledge & her delicious food was such a key on our journey. For both myself the mother & all our family/support members. This beautiful holding of mama, impacts in turn of course our baby and ultimately the wider community and then all people on Mother Earth & going into future generations. Oh and a side note her food is delicious, and we have taken some her recipes into our weekly family meals. Thank you Samantha, for all that you are.”
